Since these platforms don’t provide access to raw data, we build our own infrastructure to gain a more complete view. He walks through the key challenges—from designing scalable scan setups and avoiding detection systems to processing large datasets and enriching them with BGP and WHOIS data. Using real-world scan results, Johannes then demonstrates how network structures, major providers, and security-relevant patterns can be uncovered.
